Olympian 374 preserved

374 ready to depart for Keighley (Mark Whitehead)

Volvo Olympian 374 - the last of the six to remain at Rigby Road departed for preservation today. Purchased by Mark Whitehead, it has gone to the Keighley Bus Museum. 374 was new in November 1994 and operated until the final day on 23 July 2016, working the 1845 Fleetwood Ferry to Starr Gate and returning to depot at 2006.

374 was the first of the batch to gain Metro livery - its first repaint at seven years old entering service on Line 11 in turquoise/yellow on 23 January 2002. It gained black/yellow pool livery in 2005 and then the current fleet livery in October 2012.
Newly arrived at its new home in Keighley (Mark Whitehead)
